Hi, it’s Oscar. Yesterday, I went to an Astrid y Gaston restaurant called La Barra. I wanted to go there because my dad told me that there was guinea pig on the menu. It is one of Peru’s prized possession. Nana and I were the only who wanted to eat guinea pig. As we were waiting for our guinea pig to come Nana had her first Pisco Sour. When the guinea pig came to the table, everybody made a weird face and Sofia put her back to the table. Nana cut it up and took the first bite and said it tastes like pork with a Peking duck skin. When I took my first bite I thought it was so good. It tasted like the most delicious pork belly. P.S. cuy is guinea pig in Spanish.
